Flaxseed mixture

Flax seed mixture is a perfect recipe for vegetarian / vegan to get their dose of omega-3 from natural food source.


  • Flax seeds- 1 cup
  • Bengal gram- 1/2 cup
  • Curry leaves 1/2 cup
  • Garlic cloves 3-4 no.
  • Oil- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric, chill powder and salt- as per the taste


  • Bring the pan to heat, add ½ tsp of oil followed by Bengal gram, curry leaves and garlic cloves, cook until they turn brown.
  • Add flax seeds and spices as per the taste and mix them well, simmer the flame and allow it to cook for 10 mins.
  • Once the mixture cools down, garnish it with crushed peanuts (optional) and this super delicious namkeen is ready to eat.
